Things to do when you are bored

1. Solve Sudoku puzzles. Great training for your brain.

2. Listen to music. Music relaxes and uplifts your mood. 

3. Take up a new hobby. For example, start collecting things. 

4. Watch a movie with a friend. Go to the cinema. Even if you think there won`t be anything interesting to watch, give it a second thought, and you may be surprised.

5. Go on a hike in nature. Spending time in nature will definitely recharge your batteries. 

6. Play games on your computer. This advice is obvious but do not spend too much time doing it as this can backfire on your health.

7. Take up a new sport. While some sports might be out of your league, you should consider mild and enjoyable sports such as yoga, running and weightlifting. It`s a great way to train both your body and mind. 

8. Consider switching your diet to a healthier one. But mind you should consult with a dietician first.

9. Change your appearance. Go to a salon for a new haircut and perhaps a manicure. You may even think about changing your hair colour. And why not? The result might be very fun and transformational. 

10. Organise a party for your friends. Invite your friends over for a dinner party. You can also choose another place rather than your home for the gathering. It is up to you.

11. Use your time to get your legal affairs straight and organise your documents at home. 

12. And last but not least, use the time to do some shopping therapy. It is indeed one of the most therapeutic things you could do but also be careful not to overspend.

Food you should stop eating

 Today I embarked on a very hard task. I am changing what I eat drastically. I believe the unhealthy food I`ve been eating so far has made my body very sick. I won`t get into much detail about that but I want to show you why you may feel sick as well. This article is dedicated to all the food which is extremely unhealthy and you should stop eating right away.

 1. Processed meat. All kinds of meat. 

 I`m not saying you should become a vegetarian overnight. But meat nowadays is full of all kinds of antibiotics which cause very unpleasant problems for the human body. You may experience antibiotic resistance as well later on. My bet is that the meat you buy from the store is what causes your health issues. If you don`t own a farm and you have no idea what the cows or the pork you`re eating have eaten before that, you better not taste it at all. This is why I decided to become a vegetarian. 

2. White bread!!!

 I probably can`t stress this enough, but white bread is bad not only for people with diabetes. It is hardly such a portion of food with which you can fully satisfy your hunger. Why? Because it fastly rises your blood sugar levels and then they drop again very fast which makes it impossible for you to feel really full. It also contains gluten which is yet another unpleasant thing. Gluten sticks in your stomach and stays there for longer than you would prefer. 

3. Coffee!?

 If you want your health back, stop drinking coffee! If you are taking any kind of medication and drinking coffee at the same time, it`s almost like you haven`t taken any medication. It negates all the positives of the other things you`re eating and drinking too. It uses up your vitamin C and other minerals in your system. Being addicted to caffeine is not a joke and you should consider quitting on time.

4. Sugar and sweets.

 While dark chocolate with a high amount of cocoa in it is considered somewhat healthy, all other types of sweets are not. Again, it is especially bad for people with diabetes, and also for anyone else. Drink your tea without sugar. Use honey instead. 

5. All types of sauces. Ketchup, mayo, etc. 

 They contain chemicals. Enough said. If you want to spice your food up, use natural spices and prepare what you think your food is missing by yourself. It is a great bonus that nothing beats the taste of a homemade sauce. 

6. Carbonated drinks.

 I don`t even feel the need to explain myself to that obvious point. I haven`t been drinking such drinks for years and I feel a lot better without them.

How to lose weight without exercising

 For those of you who don`t exercise (like me), and yet want to lose some weight, there is good news. There are a few tips you can use to help you shed some pounds. There are certain lifestyle and diet changes you need to do in order to achieve this goal.
 Disclaimer: In no way I`m a professional dietitian and have no claims to be one. If you`re having health issues because of your current weight, you might want to consult with a doctor. 

1. Stop eating junk food. 

2. Drink more water. 

3. Don`t eat breakfast soon after you slept. Do it a few hours later.

4. Don`t eat after 7 PM.


5. If you`re taking medication that causes weight gain talk to your doctor to switch it or reduce the doses. 

6. Don`t overeat. 

7. Don`t drink and eat at once.

8. Eat less bread and pasta. Gluten is not your friend. 

9. If you`re a binge eater detect what triggers you to binge eat and take care of the problem some other way - not with food.

10. Stay clear of the kitchen. 

11. Start buying food of higher quality. This doesn`t necessarily mean bio foods. When you give more money, you`ll start buying less and eat less. Not to mention the benefits of healthier food.

12. Be sure to consume many fruits and vegetables throughout the day. This will do miracles with your body as well as your immune system.


13. Don`t mix a lot of different foods at once. For example - sour and sweet.

                                          14. Drink vervain tea for faster metabolism. 

15. Never drink coffee on an empty stomach. It will boost your appetite unnecessarily. 


16. Eat slowly or with normal speed. 

17. Start taking natural supplements that will help you lose weight. The stress is on 'natural'. After all, you don`t want to endanger your life.

How to dress and accessorize if you have curves


1. Wear darker clothes. This is obvious, yet I remind you because it actually works.

2. Always wear clothes that fit you well. Don`t wear smaller sizes. This will only accentuate the extra pounds you have.

3. Baggy clothes are your friend. They don`t need to be 100% baggy as you will need to turn the attention towarts those parts of your body that are to be shown and not hidden behind too baggy clothes.

4. Accentuate on the beautiful parts of your body. You may have beautiful face, great bust, etc. Whatever it is that makes you remarkable, that makes you so you - prepare to show it off by accentuating it.

5. Use bright accessories in order to compensate for the colour you may be missing from your dark clothes.

6. Use big jewelry. Smaller jewelry tends to "get lost" from sight when worn by a bigger person.


7. Busier patterns in clothes are better than bigger ones. Patterns that are too way apart only make you appear bigger than you actually are.

Beauty advice 101 Part 2

1. Stop shaving - use other methods for getting rid of unwanted hairs. The worst thing you can do to yourself is shaving. It is a common mistake, yet many women do it because it is faster and cheaper. But if you look at it, in the long run, your hairs will grow back thicker. It`s not just a myth. The razor blade companies` propaganda may get you fooled so far, but no more! I have my own experience to prove it. I use waxing most of the time to get rid of unwanted hairs.


2. Don`t put too much make-up. If you are not used to putting the number of make-up beauty gurus tend to do - so much better for you. If you put too much make-up you will appear too superficial and no matter how good you look people will definitely think that you`re shallow. Stick with the basics and don`t talk too much about make-up (only if you are asked to do so). 

3. If you are wearing eyeliner, especially one bought from the 1-dollar store, secure your make-up with spray in order for your make-up to last at least for a good 12h. There is a good chance that if your eyes happen to water, the substance could easily get into your eyes and cause you trouble. 

4. Clean your make-up before going to bed. I know it`s common sense that you should do it and yet there are people who don`t. Don`t be that lazy. This shows a lack of basic hygiene sense + it is really bad for the skin if you don`t. 

5. Wash your face when you wake up. Use a beauty product too, if you must. It will give you a fresh start of the day and you`ll feel a lot better. Remember, the way you start your day determines how the rest of it will go.

6. Be prepared for critics. Some people may approve your personal style and choice of clothes, others may not. The important thing is for you to feel good. Don`t give heed to anything the haters say. Avoid such negativism. Laugh and pass them by. Or, you know, just pass them by.

How to find positivity/ How to relax

 Today`s society is going too fast. It seems like a never ending race. You may feel overwhelmed by all the craziness going on around you. You feel like you need to take a break. Yet it is hard to just let go.
 Learning to relax is an art in itself. In order to relax you need quiet and you need no disturbances of any sort. That`s why sleep is very important. Sleep deprivation can lead to basic exhaustion and it is known to lead to brain damage if you`re not getting enough sleep on a regular basis. Apart from sleep you can use aromatherapy and drink herbal tea. Taking a nice long bath, like I said in a previous article, is also a great way to relax.
 But, above all, be prepared to deal with problems. In time. If you let problems hanging for too long, they will become bigger with time. For me, right now, the biggest issue lays with the side effects from the medication I`ve been taking. The problem is that I`m kind of overweight. To my pleasant surprise I`ve begun to lose of the weight lately - which is totally nice. The solution was to be more active. I`m even not talking about sports!
  I started doing much more things daily. Even being in front of my computer has become a whole different experience. It is more about the journey now - not just about the result that matters to me. I wasn`t like that before. I realized my psychological barriers were due to many factors such as my close relatives and my not so perfect relationships with them. I said to myself "I can`t stand to be the victim anymore. I was thought - all my life - to be the victim. I`m tired of this role."
 My advice? Listen to your intuition - if something doesn`t feel quite right, no matter what it is, don`t do it. I wish I could turn back time and say this to myself nine years ago. But then again, everyone makes mistakes. And if it isn`t for those mistakes, we wouldn`t learn the lessons in store for us.
 As I`m relaxing now, listening to music, thoughts of the past come at me at fragments. They seem both distant and as if they happened yesterday. But above all they seem familiar. You may feel the same regarding fond memories. At one point I wanted to forget my bad memories but that`s not possible. Fully embracing who you are as a person means you admit and are responsible for your flaws. There is no better healer and teacher than yourself. Peace comes from within. As an adult in almost of my mid 20s I can say that I haven`t succeeded much in anything more than understanding myself. And yet, sometimes, even I find myself surprised by some of the decisions I`ve made. To be honest, one of my biggest mistakes and at the same time the best thing about me is the ability to burn brindges. I stopped communicating with a lot of people during the years. Some of them were bad, some not so much. But it`s a pretty damn good way of getting rid of negative influences.
 I really regret some of the things I`ve done. But at least it is nothing fatal. It could have been, though. For example, when I was kind of alone during my teenage years (my mother was in a hospital) and I was left alone with my dad, I got involved with really bad people. This almost lead to my complete ruin. I almost died. I`ve never told this to anybody. It`s hard for me to speak about it. I can only write about it.
 Today, I`m glad that I`m alive. Ghosts from my past tried to come after me before. This year I won`t let them. And I know I`ll manage to do that because I`m changed now.

The Importance of Water

Water is a very important part of our lives.
 It concerns education because people try to invent new ways of searching for water. It also concerns health because of the lack of fresh clean water makes people suffer from diseases. Lack of water creates hunger due to people not always getting enough grown crops. With a few words, sanitation with water is considered half of your wellness. 
Don`t underestimate the healing properties of natural hot springs. My country`s full of mineral water springs (and it`s quite affordable too). There are several places you can choose to visit.
