Nowadays everyone seems to pretend they are not who they are. By changing their looks they are trying to achieve a totally different version of themselves - sometimes this is successful, sometimes it is not. It is not entirely bad that they are trying to change something about themselves. However the bad part is that they are altering their own unique self, their authenticity. Less is much for real.
According to me and many stylists trying too hard will only backfire at you. Beauty taken with too big of a dose will inevitably make you ugly. This is born from the inability of some people to assess how much make up they need or how many accessories. The result is most of the time atrocious. If you want to avoid looking like a clown follow certain line of common sense when it comes to your beauty routine.
Here are some tips in order to avoid falling for the trendy anti-beauty look.
1. Don`t enlarge your breasts. Some men are scared to touch such boobs. Besides it is both very expensive and potentially dangerous to your health. Be grateful for what God has given you. Harness your own natural beauty the way you are created. Don`t enlarge ANYTHING.
2. Little make-up is better than much. Some mascara, a nude lipstick or a balm, some light-coloured eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil and you are ready to go.
3. In order for your body to feel nice and for you to look your best - maintain a healthy diet and do some sports regularly. Even 10 minutes os sports a day counts as something. Just make sure all your muscles are involved in the process.
4. Use products for cleaning your face regularly - like cleansing milk, micelar water, gel or whatever. It is better to do that even if you are not wearing make-up than to put foundation. And about primers - I have nothing against them. BB and CC creams are a good option too. However foundation is denied by many dermatologists and for a reason! One of the things about it is that it helps the early aging process of your skin and cloacks your pores. Your best option lays with cream or product which is for sensitive skin, has a high SPF (or some SPF above or 10), is hydrating and yet covering (if you need that).
5. Don`t accentuate on your clothes if you have a statement necklace. Wear clothes which colours can complement the accent of your choice. If your accent is your shirt, then wear jewelry which doesn`t draw much attention. If you don`t do that, you`ll look totally ridiculous and distasteful.
