1. Blazer. The classic blazer is a very important component of your wardrobe if you are in an office environment. You can combine it equally well with pants as well as with jeans or a dress. Your best bet is on black or dark blue colour in order for you to guarantee yourself compatibility with the other clothes in your wardrobe.
As for for me, I have dark blue blazer with one button and 3/4 sleeves. I bought it with nice bluish scarf to go with it.
2. A shirt with buttons. Whether it will be the eternal classic in clean white colour or you`re going to go for a more modern interpretation with colour - it doesn`t matter. If you want to experiment - bet on floral elements or graphic prints.
I have several shirts, some of which with interesting textures and even more interesting design, but none of them have floral elements or graphic prints. This means that I`m not very willing to experiment, I guess.
3. A skirt below the knee. The classic cut below the knee not only does enlongate the silhouette, but it is also the ideal component for the office dresscode. Like the shirt, you can choose its colour and how to combine it accordingly.
I had bought a very nice black office skirt like that but since I gained weight the skirt no longer fits me and I`m basically waiting to regain my previous "glory".
4. High heels. The best option for the ladies is to opt for shoes that are with little shorter heel. Considering the fact that your work day can continue longer, you should have comfort in mind. Choose black so you can combine them with everything.
I had worn high heels that were very high and weren`t comfortable at all. Not to mention hazardous to your health and life. I can`t stress this enough - if you aren`t okay with wearing high heels, even the shortest heel could become a problem for you, so don`t risk your happiness because of this look you think you`d like to achieve. It`s simply not worth it. And again - even the shortest heel is again a heel and needs respect.
5. A dress. There are plenty of brands that present dresses only for women who work in a strict dresscode environment. Take advantage of those offers because usually they are in a great variety and you can comply them to your individualism.
If my Dolce and Gabbana dress doesn`t count for an office dress (which is most probably true), then I still don`t have one! What a shame! Yes, my shopping list was full of dresses, however I no longer have the policy of buying online. That is why I don`t have an office dress as of yet. My shopping plans just changed.
