Gifts you shouldn`t give EVER
Many of us find it really hard to select a proper gift for friends and family when we have to give something. But there are gifts which you BY ANY MEANS MUST NOT give if you don`t want to insult people and ruin your relationship with them.
1. Second-hand clothes. That`s downright insulting and unhygienic on so many levels. If you`re going to give such a gift, better not give anything AT ALL.
2. Old and cheap perfumes. It makes it even worse if you`ve used the perfume.
3. Sharp objects such as knives. It screams basic and unimaginative. It insults the housewife of every home by implementing she doesn`t have the basic instruments for cooking.
4. Toiletries. Again, it is worse if they`ve already been used and it is catastrophic if they are passed their expiration date. After giving such a gift, be thankful if the person you`ve given this to speaks to you at all after that.
